Abstract Modeling powers functional performance simulation templates that span multiple levels of fidelity of math-based tools from spreadsheets, in-house calculations and 1-D/2-D analysis programs to full 3-D CAD and FEA models. You can use Abstract Modeling to create domains which are specifications of a subset of the geometry, before the geometry or math-based data even exists in Comet!
A powerful benefit of the Abstract Model is it allows you to generate your simulation model "on the fly" when CAD geometry is brought into Comet either the first time or with any subsequent iteration to that geometry.
